A chic and casual shorter kimono that’s so easy to dress up or down. A great layering piece, this kimono will be a year round wardrobe staple.

The various patterns in this Maelu Kimono have all been individually hand block printed throughout the fabric, making each kimono completely unique. The kimono is also made with natural dyes and natural fibers.

  • One size

  • 100% cotton, weight: semi sheer

  • Because all of our garments are made by hand with natural dyes, slight color differences and imperfections between fabrics are expected. These differences enhance the beauty of our textiles and are celebrated. Some natural dyes, especially indigo, may bleed and transfer. We recommend washing gently or with like colors in cold water and air drying.

  • Designed in our Atlanta studio and handmade in India using traditional artisan techniques.

Maelu strives to follow a sustainable business model by not only creating naturally made items but by also making responsible business decisions. Maelu directly supports the artisans in India that block-print the beautiful fabric and also donates a portion of all profits directly to www.globalfundforwomen.org, a non-profit foundation supporting the advancement of women's human rights around the world.
